Fully Remote Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director

Base salary: $180k–$250k+

Busy season: ~50–55 hrs/wk

Annual billables: <1,300 hrs

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of clients across real estate, construction, tech, retail, manufacturing & professional services
• Lead tax planning and strategy — identifying opportunities before clients even know to ask
• Review complex returns: S Corps, C Corps, partnerships, and individual filings
• Mentor and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of learning
• Stay current on tax law and translate changes into actionable client guidance
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategy, growth, and business development

What you'll bring

• Active CPA or EA license (required) + bachelor's in accounting, finance, or related field
• 7+ years of tax experience, with 5+ years in a management role
• Strong technical chops across corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
• Leadership presence — you make the people around you better
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with a high degree of ownership
• Genuinely thrives in a remote, collaborative environment
