Senior Tax Manager | Director | Principal | Independent CPA Firm | Nashville, TN

Location: Hybrid — Nashville, TN (new office — ground floor opportunity)

Compensation: Up to $230,000+ base + discretionary bonus

We are expanding into Nashville and are hiring a Senior Tax Manager, Director, or Principal to lead and grow our tax practice in this market. This is a ground floor opportunity — the kind that does not come around often. You will be walking into an established client base with the backing of a nationally recognized firm behind you, and the autonomy to build something that is genuinely yours.

  • Leadership Role With Real Upside — At this level, compensation reflects the contribution. Base up to $230,000+ with discretionary bonus up to 10–15%
  • Hybrid Flexibility — 1 to 2 days in office. The rest is yours to manage


What We Are Looking For

  • Active CPA required
  • 8–10+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Experience leading a tax department or practice group — managing people, managing clients, managing deliverables
  • Track record of building or expanding client relationships — a book of business is a plus, not a requirement
  • Strong generalist tax foundation with the ability to serve a diverse client base
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you are excited about building something, not just maintaining it
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder — you will be the face of the tax practice in this market


What We Offer

  • Base salary up to $230,000+, commensurate with experience
  • Annual discretionary bonus — up to 10–15%
  • 21 days PTO (168 accrued hours)
