Senior Enterprise Network Solutions Engineer (CCNP / CCIE)

Location: Fully Remote (Northeast U.S.) when not at customer sites (Hiring for candidates based in NY, PA, CT, NJ, MA)

Travel: Less than 10% (primarily Northeast client engagements)

Compensation: $170K–$210K+ base depending on experience

Overview

We're hiring a highly technical Senior Enterprise Network Solutions Engineer to design and deliver complex enterprise networking solutions for Fortune 500 and large commercial clients.

This is a post-sales engineering role focused on solution delivery - not Managed Services or day-to-day operational support. You'll work directly with customers to implement, migrate, optimize, and troubleshoot sophisticated Cisco-based enterprise environments while serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

When you're not onsite with customers, you'll work remotely from anywhere in the Northeast U.S. (NY, PA, CT, NJ, MA).

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead implementation and deployment of complex enterprise networking solutions
• Design, validate, and optimize Cisco enterprise network architectures
• Serve as the senior technical resource throughout customer implementations
• Perform advanced troubleshooting during deployments and migration activities
• Deliver solutions across enterprise campus, WAN, and data center environments
• Work directly with customer engineering teams, architects, and IT leadership
• Participate in design reviews, technical planning sessions, and architecture discussions
• Create implementation plans, documentation, and technical best practices
• Provide technical leadership throughout the deployment lifecycle from kickoff through project completion

Technical Requirements

Senior-level expertise across modern Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including:

• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and advanced routing
• EVPN / VXLAN
• Cisco ACI
• Nexus 9000 & Catalyst 9000 platforms
• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Software Defined Access (SDA)
• Enterprise campus and data center networking
• High Availability architectures
• MPLS and enterprise WAN technologies
• Advanced Layer 2 / Layer 3 troubleshooting
• Network segmentation and security integration
• Python, Ansible, or network automation experience is a plus
• CCNP required or equivalent experience; CCIE strongly preferred

Arista Experience (Preferred)

• Arista EOS
• CloudVision
• EVPN / VXLAN on Arista
• Spine-leaf architecture
• Large-scale data center deployments
• Automation within Arista environments

Ideal Background

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience
• Experience with a Cisco VAR, systems integrator, consulting organization, or Professional Services team
• Comfortable leading customer-facing technical engagements
• Experience deploying enterprise infrastructure for Fortune 500 or large commercial organizations
• Able to work independently while serving as the technical lead on complex implementation projects
