Title: Tax Manager

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based)

Compensation: $130,000 - $185,000 base salary (DOE), annual discretionary bonuses, full benefits, 4 weeks PTO

We're a modern, fast-growing boutique-style CPA & Advisory firm based in the Southwest that's continuing to scale with strong double-digit growth. Our firm supports entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and high-growth businesses across a diverse range of industries, offering a blend of tax, advisory, and strategic services.

What sets our group apart is our highly relationship-driven approach to client service. Rather than operating in a high-volume, compliance-heavy model, we prioritize meaningful client interaction and long-term advisory work. This creates the opportunity for team members to build strong client relationships, gain direct exposure to decision-makers, and play a more active role in strategic planning beyond traditional tax work.

From a lifestyle standpoint, being intentional about building a sustainable environment is one our top priorities. Busy season hours are typically capped around 50 per week, with a strong emphasis on balance, team retention, and long-term career growth - a noticeable shift from the expectations often seen at larger firms.

If you’re ready to move beyond a compliance-heavy role and into a more relationship-driven, advisory-focused environment, let’s start a conversation!

  • Manage a portfolio of HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses
  • Review complex individual, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns
  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory support
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Partner with leadership on client strategy and planning

  • 5-10+ years of public accounting & tax experience
  • At least 1+ years of Management experience
  • Strong technical experience with 1040, 1120s, and 1065 taxation
  • Ability to serve as a primary point of contact and provide high-level tax advisory to clients
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active CPA, EA, or J.D. required

What We Offer

  • Salary: $130,000 - $185,000 (DOE)
  • Annual discretionary bonuses

  • 4 weeks PTO + additional time off
  • Flexible schedules, Summer Fridays, Low Billable Hour (~50 Hours Max/Busy Season)
