Location: 100% Remote (US-based)

Compensation: Up to $110,000 base + biannual performance bonus

We are a boutique, fully remote CPA and advisory firm built around a specific and defensible niche — entrepreneurs, high-income earners, and medical professionals. We are not a generalist shop. Our clients are physicians, dentists, and high-earning business owners who come to us for sophisticated tax planning, preparation, and business management under one roof. Every advisor works directly with a dedicated client — no rotating teams, no offshore handoffs, no billable hour pressure.

We have grown from a handful of employees to a team of over 20 in just a few years — entirely remote, entirely organic, and entirely intentional. We are hiring a Client Accounting Services Supervisor to join a growing practice and play a meaningful role in how we serve our clients and develop our team.

What You Will Do

• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff across a portfolio of client engagements
• Oversee month-end close processes, financial reporting, and general ledger management for clients
• Manage payroll processing and reconciliation in QuickBooks Online
• Resolve payroll tax notices from federal, state, and local agencies
• Maintain tax-ready books and support tax preparation workflows
• Perform account reconciliations, reporting, and cash management deliverables
• Collaborate with tax advisors on comprehensive client service
• Stay current on accounting technology and contribute to process improvement initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of accounting experience at a public accounting firm or CPA firm
• QuickBooks Online proficiency required — reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Payroll processing and reconciliation experience required — in QuickBooks Online specifically
• Experience resolving payroll tax notices from federal, state, and local agencies required
• Proven supervisory experience — mentoring and reviewing the work of accounting staff
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience supporting tax preparation and maintaining tax-ready books
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
• QuickBooks Desktop, QBO ProAdvisor certification, Gusto, ADP, or Bill.com experience a plus
