A nationally recognized ENR Top 400 General Contractor is experiencing significant growth in its light industrial and cold storage business across the Southeast and is looking for an experienced Traveling Lead / Senior Superintendent to join the team.
This is an opportunity for a proven construction leader to take ownership of large, complex cold storage projects, work with an established national builder, and play a critical role in the company's continued expansion throughout the Southeast.
The immediate opportunity includes a high-profile project in Florida, with additional large-scale projects anticipated throughout the region.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Superintendent who knows how to lead large-scale construction projects from the field—not someone who simply manages a schedule.
You'll have significant responsibility for field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality, scheduling, logistics, and client relationships while working alongside an experienced project management and leadership team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has successfully delivered large industrial, cold storage, distribution, warehouse, food & beverage, or other technically complex projects and is ready to take on a larger platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead day-to-day field operations on large-scale cold storage and light industrial projects
- Take ownership of project execution, schedule, quality, safety, and site logistics
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Establish expectations and maintain accountability across the jobsite
- Partner closely with the Project Manager and project leadership to develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor progress and proactively identify potential schedule, cost, quality, and manpower issues
- Coordinate sequencing and logistics across multiple trades and scopes
- Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate project priorities clearly
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and enforce company and project safety standards
- Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation
- Anticipate challenges and develop solutions before they impact the project
- Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports
- Mentor and develop assistant superintendents, project engineers, and other field personnel
- Represent the company professionally with clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a field leader—not just a jobsite manager.
The ideal candidate has:
- 8+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant field leadership experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or similar role
- Experience leading large-scale projects, preferably $50M+
- Strong experience with cold storage, industrial, distribution, warehouse, food & beverage, or large-scale logistics facilities
- Experience managing complex subcontractor and trade coordination
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast
- A track record of successfully delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Up to $200,000+
Plus a highly competitive total compensation package that can include:
- Performance bonus
- Project completion bonus
- ESOP / Employee Stock Ownership Plan — approximately 10–15%
- $2,000 per diem
