Remote Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

Fully Remote | U.S. Based

Compensation: $140k–$200k + Annual Bonus

The Opportunity

We are a nationally ranked Top 150 CPA firm with 200+ professionals supporting clients across the U.S. As we continue expanding our national tax practice, we’re adding experienced Tax Managers and Senior Tax Managers to support a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, nonprofits, and multi-state entities.


Our firm has been built intentionally to deliver high-level, complex tax work without the traditional public accounting burnout. We operate with no billable hour requirements, plan workloads with sustainability in mind, and maintain realistic busy season expectations. Our team works in a fully remote environment, with professionals located across the U.S., and we have a proven track record of supporting remote professionals through Director and Partner-level advancement.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Managing and overseeing tax engagements from start to finish
  • Reviewing complex federal and multi-state tax returns
  • Providing proactive tax planning and technical guidance
  • Staying current on tax law changes and identifying planning opportunities
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Mentoring and reviewing the work of staff and seniors
  • Reviewing financial statements to support tax compliance and planning


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Active CPA or EA (MST or advanced degree a plus)
  • Experience across Individuals, Partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps
  • Strong technical review skills and client-facing experience
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote, team-oriented environment


Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base Salary: $140k–$200k+ (DOE) with annual bonus opportunities
