Remote Audit Senior/Audit Manager | Boutique CPA & Advisory Firm

Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in the U.S.) (CST/MST/PST Strongly Preferred)

Compensation: $85,000 - $140,000 + 10-12% Annual Bonus

Requirements: 2-7+ years of public accounting, audit, and Nonprofit client experience

One of the few CPA & Advisory firms in the country that works exclusively with nonprofit organizations is looking to add an experienced Audit Senior or Audit Manager to their team! Founded in the early 1990s, this boutique firm has built its reputation on deep nonprofit expertise, a tech-forward approach, and a culture that puts people ahead of billable hours - because they don't track them.

Their client base spans foundations, educational institutions, sports organizations, journalism nonprofits, and environmental organizations - ranging from small local causes to nationally recognized names, primarily across CA, UT, and NY. The firm is currently in active growth mode, with two new Managing Partners stepping in to invest further in the team and the firm's long-term direction.

What You'll Do:

• Lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning through completion
• Perform and review audit procedures, workpapers, and financial statements
• Work directly with nonprofit clients on complex accounting and compliance matters
• Identify issues and communicate findings and recommendations to clients
• Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
• Take on increasing responsibility with a clear path for growth

What We're Looking For:

• 2-7+ years of Public Accounting & Audit Experience
• Nonprofit audit experience required
• Experience leading financial statement audit & review engagements
• Strong understanding of GAAP and audit standards
• Experience working directly with clients as a main POC
• Active CPA license (for Managers); CPA preferred or actively pursuing for Seniors
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
