Senior Full Stack Developer (Florida)

Location: Florida-based (Hybrid / mostly remote with quarterly in-person collaboration)

Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base + bonus potential + 100% employer-paid health benefits

We are a Florida-based, publicly traded SaaS company building cutting-edge technology solutions for insurance and financial services teams nationwide. With 150+ employees and continued growth across our product and engineering teams, we are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our in-house development organization. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys backend-heavy development, takes ownership of complex systems, and wants to help build modern, business-critical platforms in a collaborative environment.

This is a full-stack role with a strong backend emphasis (approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend), working primarily with JavaScript, Node.js, React, Docker, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.

This is a remote-first role for candidates based in Florida, with in-person collaboration and planning sessions held onsite one week per quarter.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Building and supporting scalable backend services and APIs that power core SaaS products
• Developing cloud-native applications and contributing to system architecture
• Working with MongoDB and relational databases to support transactional platforms
• Building and maintaining containerized applications using Docker across modern cloud environments
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements
• Participating in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning
• Helping mentor junior developers while owning key technical initiatives
• Diagnosing production issues and delivering clean, maintainable solutions

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience with a backend focus
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React
• Hands-on experience building and supporting RESTful APIs
• Experience developing frontend applications with React
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with Git-based source control
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Comfortable working in Agile environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Experience working with financial, transactional, or insurance-related systems is a strong plus

Compensation & Benefits:
