A top-ranked, national technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Network Security Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales architecture and client advisory efforts focused on advanced network security solutions. This is a fully remote role anywhere in the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates based in Eastern or Central time zones.
We’re looking for a senior technologist with deep hands-on experience in network security (firewalls, SASE, secure edge, ZTNA, VPN, etc.), strong client-facing skills, and the ability to drive high-impact security strategy in partnership with sales.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading solution design and architecture across firewalls, secure edge, SASE, ZTNA, VPN, IPS/IDS, and secure remote access
- Conducting whiteboarding, discovery sessions, and technical workshops to align network security architectures with client business objectives
- Partnering with Account Executives to build solution strategy, sizing, BOMs, proposals, and RFP responses
- Designing reference architectures spanning Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, and related ecosystem technologies
- Delivering executive and technical presentations, including roadmaps, migration plans, and best-practice frameworks
- Supporting POCs, pilots, and solution validation efforts with customers and OEM partners
- Producing high-quality documentation, including architectural diagrams, HLDs, LLDs, and statements of work
- Providing thought leadership around network security trends, SASE/Zero Trust models, and vendor/platform selection
What You Bring
- 8–10+ years of experience in network and security engineering/architecture, with several years in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role
- Strong expertise with core network security platforms: Cisco (firewalls/FTD/ASA, secure remote access), Palo Alto, Fortinet (FortiGate, SD-WAN), Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), and related tools
- Solid understanding of routing/switching fundamentals and how they intersect with modern security architectures
- Experience designing and implementing solutions such as next-gen firewalls, SASE, SD-WAN, VPN, ZTNA, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, and secure web gateways
- Relevant certifications strongly preferred: CCNP/CCIE Security, PCNSE, NSE 5/7/8, Zscaler certifications, or equivalent
- Proven track record supporting sales teams to win and deliver large, multi-site or multi-region network security projects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present clearly to both executives and engineers
- Strong business acumen with the ability to position solutions in terms of risk reduction, resilience, and business outcomes
