Role Overview

As a Tax Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing complex tax engagements for a sophisticated client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and private companies. You'll lead compliance work, contribute to strategic advisory efforts, and support junior team members in developing their technical and professional skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate)
  • Assist with tax planning and consulting for HNW individuals and businesses
  • Handle partnership taxation matters including allocations, basis tracking, and structuring
  • Supervise and support tax staff, fostering their growth and development
  • Communicate directly with clients and collaborate internally to deliver high-quality service
  • Remain up to date on tax regulations and contribute to firmwide knowledge-sharing


Qualifications

  • CPA license required
  • 5–7+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong technical background in partnership and individual taxation
  • Experience working with mid-sized or large privately held companies
  • Prior experience managing tax engagements and mentoring staff
  • Comfortable in a fully remote, paperless work environment
  • Clear communication and a proactive client service mindset
