Senior Account Executive - Northeast (Remote)
Location: Remote (NY, NJ, or PA)
Compensation: $120,000 - $400,000+ (Base Salary + Uncapped Commission)
We are working with a growing national IT solutions provider seeking a Senior Account Executive to support continued expansion throughout the Northeast.
The organization delivers solutions across cybersecurity, cloud, networking, data center, managed services, and professional services while maintaining strategic partnerships with leading technology manufacturers including Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, AWS, Dell, HPE, Fortinet, Pure Storage, NetApp, Cohesity, and more.
As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and growing your territory across Mid-Market, Commercial, and Enterprise customers throughout the Northeast. Success in this role comes from developing new client relationships, uncovering business challenges, and helping organizations leverage technology solutions to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close net-new business opportunities throughout the Northeast territory
- Build relationships with Mid-Market, Commercial, and Enterprise customers
- Identify opportunities across cybersecurity, cloud, networking, data center, managed services, and professional services
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to develop client solutions
- Develop and execute territory and account growth strategies
- Establish long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects
Requirements
- 5+ years of field sales / outside sales experience selling IT solutions
- Proven track record of hunting, developing, and closing net-new business
- Experience selling technology solutions through a VAR, MSP, OEM, or similar organization
- Experience selling to Mid-Market, Commercial, and Enterprise customers
- Strong consultative selling, business development, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work remotely while supporting customers throughout the Northeast
