Top 5 Wealth Management Firm

CPA Preferred| 3–5 Years Experience

If you enjoy sophisticated trust and estate tax work but are ready to leave behind the constant grind of traditional public accounting, this opportunity offers a better long-term path.

Join a top 5 wealth management firm where the work remains complex and high level—but the environment is far more balanced, collaborative, and client focused.

Why Professionals Are Making the Move

  • Slower, more manageable pace than a traditional CPA firm
  • Strong focus on trusts, estates, and high net worth family structures
  • True work-life balance with no crushing busy seasons
  • Unlimited PTO that is genuinely encouraged
  • More advisory and planning exposure, less compliance churn
  • Collaborative environment with direct access to clients, attorneys, and wealth advisors
  • High-quality client relationships over high-volume return production

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing Private Client Services team focused on trust, estate, and high net worth tax matters.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of fiduciary taxation and estate planning support but wants a more strategic and sustainable environment long term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex fiduciary returns (Forms 1041) for trusts and estates
  • Assist with estate, gift, and individual tax filings for high net worth families
  • Support trust and estate tax planning initiatives alongside advisors and attorneys
  • Work with closely held entities, family partnerships, and multi-entity structures
  • Conduct tax research related to fiduciary, estate, and gift tax matters
  • Build strong relationships with clients, trustees, attorneys, and internal advisors

What We’re Looking For

  • Active CPA or EA Preferred - OR exams completed
  • 3–5 years of tax experience within public accounting or private client services
  • Strong experience with trusts, estates, and fiduciary taxation
  • Exposure to high net worth individual returns and related entities
  • Understanding of estate and gift tax concepts preferred
  • Interest in moving toward a more advisory-focused role
  • Strong communication skills and professional client presence

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Sophisticated trust and estate work without traditional public accounting burnout
  • More balance, fewer hours, and a sustainable workload
  • Opportunity to work closely with affluent families and advisors on long-term planning
  • A people-first environment focused on career growth and retention
