Get Everything You Wish Public Accounting Could Be

Tired of the constant grind, long busy seasons, and never-ending deadlines? This is your opportunity to step into a role that offers the best parts of public accounting—without the burnout.

Join a top 5 wealth management firm where the pace is more sustainable, the work is more meaningful, and your time is respected.

What Makes This Role Different

  • Slower, more manageable pace than a traditional CPA firm
  • ~80% focus on 1040s for high net worth individuals
  • True work-life balance – no crushing busy seasons
  • Unlimited PTO – actually encouraged and supported
  • More advisory exposure, less compliance churn
  • Collaborative environment with direct access to clients and advisors

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Tax Senior who enjoys working with high net worth individuals and wants to deepen their expertise in a more strategic, client-focused environment.

You’ll primarily handle complex individual returns while also supporting broader tax planning initiatives for affluent clients and their entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex 1040s for high net worth individuals (core focus of the role)
  • Assist with tax filings for trusts, partnerships, and closely held entities
  • Support tax planning strategies (income, estate, and gift tax)
  • Partner with wealth advisors to deliver integrated financial solutions
  • Conduct tax research and provide clear, practical recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • CPA required
  • 3–5 years of tax experience (public accounting preferred)
  • Strong experience with high net worth individual returns
  • Exposure to multi-entity structures (trusts, partnerships, S-corps)
  • Interest in moving toward a more advisory-focused role
  • Strong communication skills and client presence

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a chance to leave behind the traditional public accounting model and step into something better:

Fewer hours, more balance

High-quality clients, not high volume

A firm that prioritizes people—not just billables

A long-term career path without burnout
