Senior Security Engineer / SOC Architect - Remote

A growing MSP/MSSP platform is expanding its Security Engineering organization and hiring multiple Senior Security Engineers / SOC Architects to help build the next generation of its Modern SOC.

These are highly technical, hands-on engineering roles focused on security architecture, advanced engineering, complex customer environments, detection engineering, incident response, automation, and modern security operations.

We're looking for engineers who thrive in solving difficult technical problems, building security platforms, evaluating new technologies, and serving as the technical resource that other engineers rely on during major customer incidents.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and enhance Modern SOC capabilities across enterprise customer environments
• Serve as a senior technical resource during complex customer incidents and Tier 3 escalations
• Participate in security architecture reviews and solution design discussions
• Engineer, tune, and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, and threat detection platforms
• Develop automation and orchestration workflows to improve operational efficiency
• Partner with Security Engineering leadership on new service offerings and platform enhancements
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC analysts while helping establish engineering best practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies and help shape the future direction of the security platform

Ideal Background

• Experience as a Senior Security Engineer, SOC Engineer, Security Architect, Detection Engineer, Incident Response Engineer, or MDR Engineer
• Experience within an MSP, MSSP, VAR, or enterprise security environment
• Strong enterprise networking and cybersecurity foundation
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, threat detection, and incident response
• Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers on complex technical issues
• Passion for engineering, architecture, and solving difficult technical problems
