Job Title: Business Development Associate

Company Profile: Virtual Accounting Firm

Remote: Yes - 100% remote

Role Summary: Responsible for responding & completing initial discovery calls for inbound leads & following up with existing leads. Run initial lead calls & then pass to Sales Associate to run additional closure calls

Compensation: Up to $60k base + bonus for each signed client

We're a privately owned virtual accounting firm that works with small business owners & high income individual earners to manage their accounting needs & tax returns. A growing 15+ employee firm where we've fully embraced the remote environment since covid & thriving.

We already have 2 dedicated resources to handle sales for the organization & with the continual flow of inbound leads inquiring in our services, we need to add another sales team member to support the inbound flow of leads.

Ideally looking for a professional individual who aspires to grow & advance their career.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery conversations with inbound & previously engaged prospects
• Following up no-shows & warm leads
• Assess fit & readiness using defined criteria
• Set expectations around firm process & next steps
• Provide clean handoff notes to next sales team member

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience (ideally in sales position)
• Strong phone communications & follow up skillset
• Organized, details & comfortable learning structured discovery
• Able to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $60k
• Performance based bonuses paid on closed client engagements
