We are partnering with a nationally recognized Top 100 public accounting firm that is expanding its Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice and seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services Manager to join their fully remote team.

The Role
The Client Accounting Services Manager will oversee the delivery of outsourced accounting and advisory services for a portfolio of clients. This role involves managing client relationships, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting while leveraging modern cloud-based accounting tools.
You will work directly with business owners and leadership teams to help them improve financial visibility, streamline processes, and make better decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of CAS clients and serve as the primary point of contact
- Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and accounting operations for multiple clients
- Review work prepared by staff and senior accountants for accuracy and completeness
- Provide advisory support, including financial analysis, budgeting, and process improvements
- Implement and maintain cloud-based accounting systems and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team within the CAS practice
- Collaborate with tax and assurance teams when appropriate to support client needs
- Ensure deadlines, service quality, and client expectations are consistently met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license preferred but not required
- 6+ years of accounting experience, including experience in a public accounting firm
- Experience in Client Accounting Services / outsourced accounting / advisory services
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or similar
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
