Regional Account Manager – Chicago, IL

This role is remote when not in front of clients and is focused on candidates based in the Greater Chicago area.


About the Role

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll be the face of our firm in the Chicago market—owning client relationships, identifying business needs, and aligning cutting-edge technology solutions with customer outcomes. Backed by a high-performing local engineering team and national SME resources, you’ll have the tools and support to lead with value and drive results.

This role is ideal for someone with a consultative sales style, a strong understanding of IT solutions, and a proven record of success with commercial or mid-market clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow client relationships across a defined Chicagoland territory.
  • Represent the full scope of our professional and managed services capabilities.
  • Lead client meetings, discovery sessions, and strategic planning conversations.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and OEM partners to scope and deliver top-tier solutions.
  • Develop and execute account plans and sales campaigns.
  • Drive pipeline activity and close opportunities with accuracy and consistency.
  • Engage with C-level and key decision-makers across target accounts.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of account management or technology sales experience in the IT services or VAR space.
  • Established network in the Chicagoland mid-market/commercial segment preferred.
  • Consultative, solutions-oriented sales style with a technical curiosity.
  • Familiarity with selling across infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security solutions.
  • Experience working with OEM partners such as Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, HPE, VMware, and others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and driven to succeed in a high-performance culture.
