Senior Network Solutions Engineer – Boston

Location: Boston, MA (Remote with local travel to client sites across the Greater Boston area)

Compensation: $140,000 – $200,000 (DOE) + Full Benefits

We are an established, nationally recognized IT solutions provider supporting enterprise and mid-market organizations across networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and data center initiatives.

Our teams work closely with customers to design, implement, and support complex infrastructure environments, backed by strong internal engineering resources and partnerships across Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, AWS, and other leading technologies.

We are continuing to build out our Boston engineering presence and are hiring a Senior Network Solutions Engineer to support a defined set of key client accounts in a highly visible, client-facing delivery role.

Position Overview

This is a post-sales, customer-facing engineering role focused on delivering and supporting network solutions across a small group of strategic accounts in the Boston market.

You will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for implementation, design validation, and ongoing support of enterprise networking environments - working closely with customers, internal architects, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

This is not a ticket-driven support role - it is a hands-on, project-focused position with direct customer engagement and ownership across deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of Cisco-based LAN/WAN environments across enterprise clients
• Support network refresh, migration, and upgrade initiatives
• Validate and execute network designs in partnership with Solutions Architects
• Act as a primary technical point of contact during project delivery phases
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support when needed
• Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and deployment standards
• Work directly with customers both onsite and remotely throughout project lifecycles

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routing and switching (enterprise scale)
• Experience in a client-facing role (VAR, consulting, or professional services preferred)
• Ability to operate independently in customer environments
• Strong troubleshooting and deployment experience across complex networks
• CCNP or CCIE certifications are highly preferred
