Senior Network Architect – Modern Data Center (EVPN / VXLAN)

West Coast (CA, AZ, NV, PacNW) | Remote + Client-Facing

A global technology solutions provider is actively building out its U.S. architecture team and seeking a Senior / Lead Network Architect with deep experience designing modern data center environments.

This role is focused on EVPN/VXLAN fabrics, spine-leaf architectures, and leading enterprise-level solution design across complex, high-impact environments.

This is a high-impact, client-facing architecture role focused on designing modern data center and network environments for enterprise clients.

We’re not looking for someone who has supported these environments - we’re looking for someone who has designed and led them.

You’ll work directly with enterprise stakeholders to architect next-generation data center fabrics, guide technical strategy, and play a key role in complex, large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

Role / Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients
• Architect modern data center environments (spine-leaf, EVPN/VXLAN fabrics)
• Design multi-site and hybrid infrastructure architectures across data center and cloud
• Partner closely with sales teams on strategic pursuits and high-value accounts
• Present and defend architectural approaches to both technical and executive stakeholders
• Translate complex networking concepts into clear business outcomes
• Provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales lifecycle

Skills Sought

• Deep experience designing modern data center fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures)
• Proven background in pre-sales or client-facing architecture roles
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale enterprise environments (not just implementation/support)
• Strong multi-vendor experience (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, etc.)
• Ability to operate at both a technical depth and executive level
• Experience with automation, orchestration, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with AI / HPC infrastructure or high-performance networking environments
• Exposure to technologies such as InfiniBand, RDMA, or GPU-based data center design
• Relevant certifications (CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus, but depth of experience is the priority

Compensation:

Base salary is expected to fall in the low/mid $200Ks, with additional performance-based incentives.
