A well-established, privately held financial and professional firm is adding an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to its growing tax team.
Join a stable, collaborative organization where tax professionals have significant ownership of their client relationships and work directly with senior leadership. The position offers a strong mix of technical tax work, client advisory responsibilities, and team leadership without the traditional pressure of a billable-hour model.
You'll work with a diverse client base that includes business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and privately held companies, handling complex compliance while identifying opportunities for tax planning and consulting.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, overseeing tax compliance, planning and client service.
- Partner with internal professionals and senior leadership to coordinate client tax planning and compliance.
- Train and mentor associates, provide ongoing feedback, and serve as a trusted technical resource for the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Active CPA required
- Strong experience with individual income tax planning strategies and compliance
- Experience managing client relationships and reviewing complex tax engagements
- Comfortability signing off on returns
