Job Title: Rewards and Recognition Manager

Benefits & Leave Management

  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), COBRA, FSA, and voluntary benefits
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefit enrollments, life events, and claims
  • Manage leave of absence programs in compliance with federal, state, and internal policies
  • Work with vendors, carriers, and HRIS teams to resolve benefit-related issues
  • Conduct audits of benefit and leave programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support and educate employees on benefit options and leave processes
  • Coordinate and execute annual benefits open enrollment

Employee Engagement & Events

  • Plan and lead employee events such as wellness fairs, seasonal celebrations, and recognition ceremonies
  • Maintain an annual calendar of events and collaborate with internal departments on execution
  • Manage community outreach opportunities and coordinate participation
  • Oversee employee recognition programs and regularly evaluate their effectiveness
  • Organize contests, raffles, and reward programs that promote wellness, culture, and engagement

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and support the benefits and engagement team
  • Ensure consistent service delivery and process improvements across all areas
  • Provide training, development, and performance management for direct reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, leave laws (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, etc.), and compliance
  • Experience in planning and executing employee events and recognition programs
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with ADP systems (benefits, leave, and recruitment modules)
  • Experience working in a paperless HR environment
