About Anima

At Anima, we're revolutionizing healthcare with intelligent automation. Our mission is bold: save lives by delivering high-impact, deeply technical products powered by AI and real-time clinical data. We’ve built some of the most loved tools in healthcare, with millions of patients already benefiting. With one of the highest quality labeled healthcare datasets globally and a robust product already in production, we’re now scaling the team to take on even bigger challenges.

About the Role

As a Senior or Staff Full Stack Product Engineer, you will take full ownership of projects that save lives, reduce clinician burnout, and optimize care delivery. You will ship meaningful features within your first two weeks and architect systems that scale to millions. You’ll join a small, mission-driven team that works autonomously without PMs or EMs—just engineers solving real-world problems with urgency and purpose.

What You’ll Do

In Your First Month:

  • Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., legacy EMRs, national services like e-prescribing).
  • Improve our proprietary graph traversal algorithm for smarter patient care.
  • Join customer calls to understand real-world pain points and iterate fast.
  • Ship features that will directly contribute to lives saved—within 2 weeks.

In Your First 6 Months:

  • Help architect and launch scalable ETL pipelines for AI-ready data.
  • Roll out deep learning training and validation infrastructure into production.
  • Build groundbreaking features: semantic search, LLM-enabled cloud telephony, and context-aware clinical tools.
  • Scale the engineering team and improve velocity through thoughtful process design.

Beyond 6 Months:

  • Transition into a leadership or executive role if desired—leading elite, autonomous teams.
  • Work closely with ML and data engineers to improve pipeline throughput and data quality.
  • Drive the evolution of healthcare with world-class engineering.
