The Opportunity

On behalf of our established client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Administrator to join our accounting team on a temporary basis for 1-2 months for vacation coverage.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining vendor relationships. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and at least 2 years of experience in a full-cycle accounts payable role.


Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation for payment approvals.


Candidate Profile

  • Post-secondary education with at least 2 experience in an accounts payable capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes is an asset


This positions offers an hourly pay rate of $25 per hour (with some flexibility depending on experience).
