Vice President, Finance | Maple Ridge
Our client is seeking a Vice President, Finance to lead the finance function across a growing multi-entity organization based in Maple Ridge. This is a newly created role driven by growth and offers the opportunity to build structure, strengthen reporting, and support decision-making across a complex and evolving group of businesses.
Reporting to the Group President and CFO, the VP Finance will oversee the day-to-day finance function while partnering closely with senior leadership to provide timely insights, improve visibility across operating companies, and help shape financial discipline and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on senior finance leader who brings strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to lead through growth and change. The ideal profile brings a blend of public practice/accounting and industry experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead the finance function across a multi-entity group, including oversee and mentor the accounting team
- Own consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across operating companies
- Provide clear, timely financial reporting and insights to senior leadership to support planning and decision-making
- Drive cash flow management and working capital optimization across the group
- Establish and strengthen scalable financial processes, controls, governance, and reporting consistency across entities
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Build, mentor, and align a high-performing finance team across the organization
- Partner with operating leaders to improve financial visibility, accountability, and performance tracking
What You Bring
- CPA designation (or other recognized accounting designation) and post-secondary education in a relevant field
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Strong experience in consolidated reporting and multi-entity finance environments
- Public accounting foundation, with the ability to bring both technical rigor and practical business judgment
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementation projects is preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience is considered a strong asset
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach teams and build consistency across functions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior leadership in a growing business
