Junior Credit Analyst

They are currently looking for a Junior Credit Analyst to join their team. It is a permanent, full time role ideally based in either Calgary, Montreal, or Dartmouth. The successful candidate should have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience and fluency in French is considered a strong asset.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a bi-lingual (English/French) Junior Credit Analyst to join our team of dynamic professionals. Below are the key responsibilities, although the day to day may vary over time:

  • Conduct basic risk analysis of various commercial businesses to assess creditworthiness
  • Work closely with Credit Risk Manager to prepare annual portfolio risk rating reports
  • Assist with the execution of internal audits and reporting
  • Interact with the collection team and provide necessary support


 Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Working towards a risk designation would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and reporting combined with strong financial analysis skills (income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheet)
  • Strong computer skills, MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) would be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (ideally bi-lingual French/English) required along with the ability to work well in a fast-paced self-driven environment


Location: This position is an on-site position at their offices in either Calgary, Montreal, or Dartmouth.


Compensation: Comprehensive total compensation package includes base salary starting at $65,000 per year depending on experience, up to 10% bonus, extended benefits, and RRSP contributions.
