Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team in downtown Vancouver. This role offers exposure across core accounting, financial reporting, receivables, revenue, cash flow, and payroll support, making it a good fit for someone who loves variety and seeking to join a small and dynamic team and eventually grow into a more senior role.

What you’ll be doing

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain the general ledger in accordance with ASPE
• Support external audits and regulatory reporting
• Oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, and AR reconciliations
• Review vendor invoices, monitor expenses, and support payables processes
• Prepare revenue and deferred revenue entries and reconciliations
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, banking activity, and payroll support
• Contribute to process, policy, and internal control improvements

What we're looking for

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
• Solid understanding of ASPE
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and adaptability
