Status: Permanent, 30 hrs/week, Weekdays

Back in Motion is looking for a Registered Kinesiologist to join our Coquitlam CRR team. In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact on individuals recovering from injuries by delivering active rehabilitation, guiding return‑to‑work planning, and contributing to an interdisciplinary model of care.


What You’ll Do

As part of our dynamic Rehabilitation team, you will:

Clinical Support & Client Care

  • Provide evidence-based assessment and active treatment for clients with orthopedic, neurological, concussion, and mental health-related conditions
  • Implement, monitor, and progress exercise and work‑simulation programs
  • Support clients referred by ICBC
  • Deliver personal training and individualized kinesiology services


Return-to-Work Coordination

  • Develop and monitor structured Gradual Return to Work (GRTW) plans
  • Help clients safely and successfully transition back to employment
  • Communicate with key stakeholders (insurers, employers, physicians) in collaboration with the Physiotherapist


Teamwork & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, resource coordination, attendance tracking, and timely reporting
  • Work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Administrative Staff
  • Receive ongoing mentorship, training, and professional support


What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or equivalent
  • Knowledge or experience in orthopaedic, neurological, concussion, or mental health rehabilitation
  • Understanding of psycho-social factors influencing disability
  • Active registration with BCAK (required)
