Location: Abbotsford, BC
Program: Customized Recovery & Return to Work (Rehabilitation Services)
Hours: Weekdays (Part-time is at least FTE.05)
Compensation: $28–30/hour (Employee status with benefits or Contractor status)

What You’ll Do
As a key member of our Rehabilitation Services team, you will:
Client Support & Program Delivery
- Guide clients through individualized exercise, stretching, and work‑simulation programs
- Provide daily supervision and coaching to encourage functional progress
- Deliver education sessions on posture, body mechanics, pacing, goal setting, and more
- Lead group exercise, strengthening, or mobility circuits
Assessment & Reporting
- Review medical files and conduct client interviews
- Perform functional assessments to identify return‑to‑work barriers
- Maintain detailed weekly notes and produce timely interdisciplinary reports
Return-to-Work (RTW) Coordination
- Conduct job site visits and collaborate with employers
- Confirm job demands and develop structured Gradual Return to Work (GRTW) plans
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to support successful outcomes
Team & Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, committees, and professional development
- Coordinate client scheduling and program logistics
- Support gym equipment maintenance and general program operations
- Provide mentorship to junior Kinesiologists or students (as needed)
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ year recent experience as a Kinesiologist
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a return‑to‑work rehabilitation setting
- Experience with Job Site Visits and RTW planning (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial aspects of disability
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or equivalent
- Active membership with BCAK
- Ability to travel occasionally within the Lower Mainland
