Job Title: Regional Sales Representative – Midwest Region (Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods)

Location: Midwest Region, USA (including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota)

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Salesman to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships within the Midwest territory. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors and will be instrumental in promoting a diverse range of metal packaging solutions. Expecting 50% travel in midwest territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned Midwest territory.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key retail accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the retail or CPG industry, preferably within the Midwest region.
  • Strong knowledge of metal packaging products and applications is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned Midwest territory (50% travel).

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with national retail chains and regional distributors.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and retail analytics.
  • Background in launching new products or expanding into new markets.
