Senior NPD Technologist for an award-winning, BRC accredited Food Manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up into a management position. You will manage, lead and own NPD on site, therefore must be good at working with retailer NPD teams and be familiar with in-house retailer technical systems.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:

·      Managing customer relationships with retailer NPD teams

·      Managing your team on a day-to-day basis

·      Providing product insight into market trends

·      Owning key retailer private label projects from concept to launch

·      Monitoring product quality post launch

·      Sourcing packaging ideas, options/ samples

Essential / Desirable skills include:

·      Experience of working with private label and UK Retailers

·      Evidence of good project management skills and critical path ownership

·      Familiar with retailer specifications systems

·      Strong communication skills

·      Ability to work cross department

·      Ability to travel when required

·      Must be able to taste test all products on site

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. The salary is c. £40k per annum.
