Looking for a highly motivated Food Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a busy food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a growing business and play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently met.

Reporting to the Managing Director;

Responsibilities for the role will include:

•                 Leading, managing and developing production teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

•                 Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.

•                 Driving continuous improvement in efficiency, yield and waste reduction.

•                 Collaborating with quality, engineering and supply chain teams to optimise production processes.

•                 Monitoring KPIs and reporting on performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

•                 Supporting and mentoring team leaders to achieve operational excellence.

Essential / Desirable skills include:

•                 Must have proven experience in a management role within food manufacturing, handling meat-based products

•                 Strong leadership and people management skills.

•                 Excellent understanding of HACCP, BRC and Food Safety regulations.

•                 Results-driven, with a proactive and hands-on approach.

•                 Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

The role offers a highly competitive salary of between £70k and £85k depending on experience. The position is a Monday to Friday day-based role so provides great work-life balance.
