NPD Technologist for a growing Food Manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established NPD team. They are looking for someone to join the team who is easy going with a willingness to get “stuck in”. A motivated team player who is keen to learn.

Reporting to the NPD Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:

·      Development of innovative products and continuous improvement of existing products

·      Working closely with designated customer accounts

·      Assisting customers on key projects, presentations and factory trials

·      Identifying new food trends and market gaps

·      Recipe development and reformulation

·      Preparing kitchen samples as required

Essential / Desirable skills include:

·      Ideally you will have a Food Technology degree or similar

·      Relevant experience gained through a food manufacturing environment which would ideally include product development from concept through to launch

·      Creative flair with a genuine passion for food

·      A keen eye for detail

·      Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner

·      Must be able to taste test all products on site

·      Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, office hours. The salary is competitive depending on experience and will be shared with you at the agency screening stage.
