Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work under physician direction to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for patients with physical disabilities. This role involves objectively evaluating patient needs, creating measurable goals, and delivering dynamic therapy programs to support patient progress. You will work in both the Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient Units, providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient's developmental and functional needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective and measurable assessments to establish baseline self-care function and treatment needs.
  • Develop realistic, measurable treatment goals based on individual patient assessments.
  • Implement dynamic treatment programs to achieve or significantly progress toward established goals, ensuring consistency and continuity.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan and provide age-appropriate care.


Shift Schedules

  • Acute Rehab Unit/Inpatient Units:
  • Tuesday-Saturday (Five 8-hour shifts)
  • Wednesday-Saturday (Four 10-hour shifts)


Shift Differentials (based on majority of hours worked):

  • Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM): +8%
  • Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM): +11%
  • No weekend differential.


Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Idaho (candidates may apply prior to graduation or licensure).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous Acute Care experience.


Compensation

  • Salary Range: $78,000 – $117,020
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
