Occupational Therapist - Franklin, PA

Position Overview

Join a compassionate team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional home health care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will manage and deliver patient care plans to improve independence and quality of life. This role supports patients in Somerset and surrounding areas, offering a flexible schedule and significant growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments of patient functionality and develop tailored care plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve physical and cognitive abilities.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment usage.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems.
  • Re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality care.
  • Travel locally to patient locations, spending ~20% of your day driving.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) license in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Medicine.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Social Work.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Certification in one of the following:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS).
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS).
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS).


Schedule and Shift Details

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Light full-time schedule (4 days/week).
  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.
