Position Overview

This role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care as an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse leader. Responsibilities include maintaining continuity of care, serving as a resource for staff, addressing and resolving problems, supporting quality improvement initiatives, leading staff education efforts, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. This position also oversees operations in 6 OR Suites and 1 Cath Lab Room.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing
• Arizona Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse licensure
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
• Minimum of 2 years as a Director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Certification as a Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)
• Moderate Sedation Certification
• 5 years of leadership experience in Surgical Services or upper management in a critical care hospital
