Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our client's healthcare team in Detroit, MI. In this role, you will perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision, contributing to delivering high-quality patient care. Your expertise in radiology and imaging, combined with your dedication to process improvement, will make a meaningful impact on community health and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care & Communication:
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
  • Explain procedures, including potential side effects, risks, benefits, and follow-up steps.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients, including those under physical or emotional stress.
  • Imaging & Diagnostics:
  • Set up equipment and perform imaging procedures according to prescribed protocols.
  • Acquire and review images, document exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
  • Respond to medical emergencies as appropriate during procedures.
  • Process Improvement & Education:
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including patient flow optimization, reject-repeat analysis, and satisfaction surveys.
  • Provide education and training to residents, student technologists, and new employees.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • At least 1+ year of experience in Radiology or as a CT Technologist.
  • Education & Certification:
  • Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
  • ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) certification is required.
  • Valid CPR or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification accepted.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in handling imaging equipment and software.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.


Schedule and Shift Details:

  • Flexible scheduling available:
  • Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts.
  • 8 or 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
  • On-call availability is required.
