The company is on an extraordinary growth trajectory and is looking for a Bid Manager. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and further build out the currently three-person bid management team. As the company grows and ten new sales employees are hired, the bid management team will also expand with each addition. You are not just “another” resource but a key person in the team, and you can contribute your own ideas and processes. You can work fully remotely within Germany, and additionally spend several weeks in any EU country of your choice.


Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the entire bid life cycle — from qualification, kick-off, proposal creation, coordinating internal stakeholders, to final submission
  • Strategic design of the bid strategy, development of “win themes,” and positioning
  • Managing cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, finance, legal, delivery) and ensuring timely contributions
  • Preparing, reviewing and quality-checking bid documents, cost and price structuring
  • Ensuring compliance with requirements (public procurement, regulatory demands, internal guidelines)
  • Conducting after-action / lessons learned analyses, identifying success factors and process improvements
  • Participating in negotiations, presentations, and clarification rounds with clients


Your profile:

  • Several years of experience in bid / proposal management, ideally in an IT / technology environment
  • Practical experience with public tenders, procurement processes, and complex B2B / B2G cycles
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple proposals in parallel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in German & English
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style combined with strategic thinking
  • Strong communication, assertiveness, and teamwork skills
  • Languages: German (fluent)
