Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our agricultural operation in Colorado. This role involves operating a variety of farm equipment and performing both crop production and livestock-related duties. Work activities will vary depending on seasonal demands, weather conditions, and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation & Crop Production:

• Operate tractors and farm equipment for planting, irrigating, fertilizing, spraying, cultivating, harvesting, and transporting crops
• Use machinery including tractors with implements, GPS/auto-guidance systems, sprayers, harvesters, backhoes, mowers, and track-hoes
• Load and operate non-CDL farm trucks to transport crops to elevators or storage facilities
• Load seed into planters and properly mix and load chemicals into sprayers
• Change combine cutting heads and assist with harvesting operations

Irrigation Duties:

• Set up, operate, and maintain irrigation systems
• Monitor and maintain adequate water supply to crops
• Operate well motors and irrigation pivots
• Clear and maintain irrigation ditches and drain excess water from fields

Maintenance & General Farm Work:

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs on farm equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, storage sheds, buildings, and equipment
• Use hand tools to repair and maintain machinery and facilities
• Remove debris, unwanted plants, and foreign objects from fields

Livestock Duties:

• Feed and monitor livestock
• Assist with veterinary visits and medication administration
• Clean pens and maintain livestock facilities

Work Conditions:

• Duties and locations may change frequently based on farm needs
• Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Schedule and daily tasks vary depending on crops, weather, and field conditions

Requirements:
