Job Overview: 

We are seeking reliable and experienced winter drivers, farmers, or agricultural contractors to support snow clearing and gritting operations for the 2024/2025 winter season. This night work positions requires availability from November through April 2025 to ensure safety and convenience in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment for snow clearing and gritting operations, ensuring safety and accessibility for businesses during winter.
• Support our operations as a delivery partner or collaborate with us if you own a gritting business.
• Responsibilities include driving, fuelling, loading salt, and cleaning the gritter at the start and end of each route.
• Remain on standby throughout the winter season, with punctuality being crucial.
• Complete gritting on assigned routes and manage related tasks, such as washing vehicles, fuelling, and maintaining accurate records.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Strong and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work night shifts and be available throughout the winter season.
• You will be required to be flexible and could be called out to re grid
• You must also be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions without restriction.
• Preferably reside within a 45-minute commute from one of the specified locations.

Details:

Duration: October 2024 – April 2025

Rate: £22.50 per hour (All inclusive assignment rate)

Bonus: £600.00 for completing full contract term

Hours: 18:00 PM – 02:00 AM (8–12-hour shifts)

Interviews: Conducted face-to-face at our client’s office
