The hours would Mon-Fri 9-6. The role is term time only, 42 weeks of the year

The Deputy Nursery Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the overall management and daily operations of the nursery.

This position is pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, maintaining high standards of education, and fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

The Deputy Nursery Manager assists in leading the team, promoting professional development, and engaging with parents and the wider community.

By embodying the nursery's educational ethos and values, the Deputy Manager helps to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that benefits children, families and staff. In the absence of the Nursery Manager, the Deputy Manager assumes responsibility for the nursery's operations, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to all regulatory and welfare requirements.

The role is essential in sustaining the nursery's commitment to excellence while also contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the setting.
