We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly team in our brand new setting based in Fulham. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, brings a sense of fun to their day, and genuinely loves supporting children’s development in a caring and engaging environment.

We are a well-established, family-run group of Montessori nurseries with over 30 years of experience providing exceptional childcare in London. Our setting is known for its warm, nurturing atmosphere, long-serving team, and strong reputation with both parents and local childcare professionals - and we would love a deputy manager who aligns with these values.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a dual role, combining time in the room, with leadership and administrative responsibilities as a part of your role as deputy. These responsibilities include:

  • Support and guide a passionate team of practitioners
  • Mentor and train staff, promoting high standards of care and education
  • Lead on observations, supervisions, and staff development
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and EYFS requirements
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Contribute to planning and implementation of the Montessori curriculum
  • Assist with nursery administration and day-to-day management

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone special! Someone who brings both professionalism and joy to their work:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Proven leadership skills in a nursery setting
  • A caring, compassionate approach to working with children
  • A great communicator and a natural team player
  • Organised, responsible, and full of positive energy
  • Montessori experience is a plus, but not essential
