Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 & Level 3)

Level 2: £27,560–£30,680

Level 3: £29,120–£31,928

Full Time – 40 hours over 4 days

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS
  • Passionate, nurturing and child-centred approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
  • Ability to build positive partnerships with parents and carers


Job Summary

To provide high-quality education and care in line with the EYFS framework.

To act as a key person, supporting children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing.

To plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and maintain accurate observations and assessments.

To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment.

To ensure safeguarding, health & safety and welfare standards are consistently maintained.

To build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to support children’s ongoing development.
