Early years practitioner / Nursery Nurse- Wandsworth

Salary up to £29000 per year

Full Time


As our ideal Nursery Practitioner, you will be creative, have high energy levels and enjoy having fun with your children.

You will have a good knowledge of the EYFS and be able to contribute towards an environment for child-led, play-based learning.

You will join a team that is hard-working, fun and believe in developing and supporting children's imagination, creativity and education.

Key Objectives:

  • Assist with the effective daily supervision of the setting in accordance with the requirements of company policy, Act 1989, Ofsted, local education authority and other relevant legislation
  • Ensure all agreed company policies and procedures are always adhered to in the nursery
  • Take responsibility for the security and wellbeing of all children within the room

Desirable Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Early Years or above

DBS (Disclosure Barring Service)

Food & Hygiene Certification

Paediatric First Aid Certification

Health & Safety Certificate

First Aid- The company will register you and assist you in completing your paediatric first aid training


Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years old
  • Relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification
  • Flexible
  • with strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Paediatric First Aid is desirable
  • Food safety and hygiene are desirable
  • DBS certification
