We are looking for a Nanny / House Manger to look after the house and 2 Children (10 and

18 years)

Gallowstree Common, Reading

Monday - Thursday 10.30 am to 6.30pm. or 7.30am to 12.30pm then 3.30pm to 6.30pm (family are quite flexible)

£16 - £17 gross per hour.

Nanny / House manager aspects for a family with older girls who are at school in Reading. The children are older so very independent but need someone in the house and for school runs and running to activities.

The Employee’s duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

1. Looking after the children’s needs, welfare, health and safety.

2. Collecting the children from school and additional extracurricular activities

3. Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas (play room, lounge) and bathroom clean

and tidy every day.

4. Laundry and ironing of the families clothes and bedding.

5. Shopping for the families needs.

6. Preparing and cooking the family meals.

7. Supervising and spending time with children

8. Keeping the kitchen, dining and any other room clean and tidy after use by you and

the children.

9. House keeping - mainly tidying as the family do have a regular cleaner.

10. Adhoc groceries purchase, preparing simple meals.

The Employees’ normal hours of work shall be from 10.30am – 6.30 pm Monday to

Thursday every week. Total of 8 hours per working day.

We require a car driver, non-smoker and a reliable and punctual individual
