Social Media & Content Manager
Role Summary
The Social Media & Content Manager is a foundational hire responsible for establishing the brand’s voice, building early community traction, and creating a direct feedback loop between users and the product from day one. This role goes beyond posting content, it is a growth and retention driver, directly impacting user acquisition efficiency, community trust, and long-term brand equity.
You will lead social, community, PR, influencer coordination, and agency collaboration to activate early users, improve retention, and reduce customer acquisition cost (CAC) by minimizing funnel leakage and improving message-to-market fit.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Voice & Messaging Foundation
- Define, document, and own the brand’s voice, tone, and narrative
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, campaigns, and partners
- Translate product features, promotions, and updates into clear, engaging, and compliant content
- Act as the internal guardian of brand perception and messaging alignment
Social Media, Community & Early Activation
- Launch, manage, and grow social and community channels (e.g., X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Reddit, Instagram)
- Drive early community activation, engagement, and trust
- Build feedback-driven engagement loops that encourage repeat play and loyalty
- Moderate and guide community discussions while coordinating escalations with Support and Compliance
- Foster a sense of ownership and belonging among early users
Influencer, PR & External Partnerships
- Identify, onboard, and manage influencers, streamers, and creators
- Coordinate influencer campaigns from brief to delivery and performance review
- Support PR initiatives, announcements, and earned media opportunities
- Ensure all external messaging aligns with brand, compliance, and growth goals
Agencies, Platforms & User Acquisition Support
- Coordinate with agencies, ad platforms, and acquisition partners
- Align organic content and community insights with paid acquisition strategies
- Identify and reduce acquisition leakage by improving pre- and post-click messaging
- Support creative testing to improve conversion rates and onboarding quality
- Act as a bridge between Marketing, Product, and Growth teams
Retention, CAC Efficiency & Feedback Loops
- Use community insights to improve retention and lifetime value
- Capture and structure direct user feedback to inform:
- Product improvements
- UX and onboarding optimizations
- Messaging and promotional clarity
- Help reduce CAC by ensuring users arrive with clear expectations and stronger intent
- Report community-driven insights to leadership regularly
Analytics & Continuous Optimization
- Track performance across social, community, influencer, and PR initiatives
- Monitor engagement quality, sentiment, retention signals, and acquisition efficiency
- Continuously iterate on content, tone, and channels based on real user behavior
- Establish baseline KPIs and reporting frameworks suitable for a start-up environment
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in social media, content, or community-led growth roles
- Proven experience building brands or communities from early stage or zero
- Strong understanding of crypto, gaming, fintech, or high-growth digital products
- Experience coordinating influencers, agencies, or external marketing partners
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong narrative instincts
- Comfortable operating with high autonomy and limited structure
Preferred
- Experience in iGaming, crypto casinos, or Web3 projects
- Familiarity with paid acquisition funnels and CAC optimization
- Experience managing Telegram and Discord communities
- Understanding of responsible gaming and advertising restrictions
- Data-informed mindset with hands-on experience using analytics tools
