Technical Project Manager
Overview
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technical projects from initiation through completion. The role works closely with software development, infrastructure, IT, and product teams to ensure successful project execution, alignment with business objectives, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage technical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software development, IT, infrastructure, and product teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting structures.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure project outputs meet technical standards, business requirements, and quality expectations.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within project delivery processes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of technical environments, software development processes, and IT systems.
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMP frameworks.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, infrastructure environments, and technical operations.
- Fluency in Armenian, English, and Russian, both written and verbal.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 are considered an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
Professional Skills
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello, and Confluence.
- Understanding of API testing tools and protocols, including Postman or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of budgeting, performance measurement, risk management, and project reporting.
- Experience working closely with software development teams.
