COMMISSIONING PROJECT MANAGER (ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL)
Locations: Buffalo, NY and Lubbock, TX
Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits
Travel: Project-Based Assignment | Up to 100% Travel
Travel Expenses: Company-paid lodging, meals, transportation, and project-related expenses

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The successful candidate is a project-minded commissioning professional who can keep multiple stakeholders aligned while driving technical work to closure. This person understands both the urgency and discipline required to bring mission-critical systems online safely and correctly.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy leading meetings, solving problems before they become schedule issues, and working shoulder to shoulder with owners, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage commissioning activities from design review through final turnover.
• Develop and maintain commissioning schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and owner demonstrations.
• Lead commissioning meetings and provide status reporting to project stakeholders.
• Manage commissioning documentation, deficiencies, and turnover packages.
• Coordinate contractors, equipment manufacturers, controls providers, and owner representatives.
• Support FAT, SAT, load bank testing, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
• Help drive issue resolution and ensure systems are ready for turnover.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of relevant data center commissioning experience.
• Electrical or mechanical commissioning background in mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, documentation, testing processes, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to communicate clearly with owners, contractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Comfortable working full-time on active construction sites with up to 100% project-based travel.
