Position Summary
Southern Staffing Group is currently seeking two Quality Assurance & Commissioning Site Managers for a leading electrical contractor in the southeastern U.S. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong electrical background, including field leadership and commissioning experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation and execution of project quality and commissioning plans from initiation through completion.
This is an on-site position supporting a major data center project.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project-specific quality and commissioning plans
- Lead implementation and oversight of quality/commissioning processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with project management to ensure proper documentation and delivery of final quality packages
- Support field and vendor teams in scheduling QA/Cx activities aligned with project milestones
- Review equipment and material specs, BOMs, and submittals for scope accuracy and compliance
- Conduct and document installation inspections and tests per project requirements
- Coordinate inspections with AHJs, general contractors, and owners
- Assist with developing site-specific startup procedures and commissioning documentation (MOPs, SBSs)
- Supervise testing and startup activities, ensuring all commissioning objectives are met
- Analyze quality performance data and trends to identify improvements
- Communicate lessons learned and feedback to regional QA/Cx leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field

Minimum 5 years as a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with Foreman or General Foreman experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality and commissioning roles within the electrical industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
- Familiarity with BIM 360 and PlanGrid preferred
- OSHA & NFPA 70E training preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities, mentor team members, and meet deadlines
- Travel up to 100% as required by project locations
