Compensation Overview
Base Salary
$130,000 – $200,000+, depending on experience, project scale, and geographic location
- Roles supporting high-cost or high-complexity markets are typically aligned toward the upper end of the range
- Regional or travel-based roles may align toward the mid-range based on scope and responsibility

Role Overview
A nationally active mission critical delivery organization is seeking an experienced Data Center Owner’s Representative to support large-scale, high-reliability data center construction programs. This role serves as the Owner’s primary advocate and point of accountability throughout design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
The Owner’s Representative provides technical oversight, project governance, and risk management to ensure facilities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with long-term operational readiness and reliability objectives. This position is well-suited for a seasoned project professional with deep mission critical experience who thrives in complex, fast-paced delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Owner Representation & Project Oversight
- Serve as the primary Owner-side representative across design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Act as the central coordination point between the Owner and architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams
- Ensure alignment with Owner standards, operational requirements, and risk management objectives
Design, Construction & Commissioning Support
- Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders for compliance, constructability, and quality
- Monitor schedule, budget, contingency usage, and overall project health
- Support commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, and Levels 1–5 integrated testing
- Track and drive resolution of deficiencies through structured QA/QC processes
Financial, Safety & Turnover Management
- Review contractor pay applications and cost reporting for accuracy and transparency
- Enforce safety, environmental, and contractual compliance requirements
- Ensure complete turnover documentation, training, warranties, and operational handoff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10+ years of experience delivering large-scale construction projects, including mission critical or data center environments
- Experience overseeing projects valued at $100M+
- Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning processes
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA)
- Proficiency with project and document management platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, P6)
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally as required
Preferred Experience
- Direct Owner-side or Owner’s Rep experience
- Background supporting fast-track or multi-site delivery programs
- Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, CxA, or similar
