Role Overview:

This role will lead proposal development for modular power solutions, including E-Houses and skids, while managing a small team of proposal/design professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and proposal team (3–4 direct reports)
• Develop and structure technical proposals and pricing
• Interface directly with customers and review project specifications
• Coordinate internally to create accurate, competitive quotes

Business Need:

This role supports expansion into modular solutions for hyperscale data center customers, specifically E-Houses and skids, to support future growth and revenue targets.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical or related discipline acceptable with strong power module experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal engineering, applications engineering, estimating, or technical sales support within modular power systems or mission-critical power distribution (non-negotiable)
• Experience quoting complete technical solutions, including equipment selection, vendor coordination, and scope definition
• Working knowledge of modular electrical systems including switchgear/switchboards, transformers, ATS, UPS, batteries, auxiliaries, and related mechanical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data center power infrastructure quoting experience (PDCs, UPS plants, busway interfaces, modular power rooms)
• Understanding of UL/NRTL compliance and how it impacts cost and schedule
• Background in Critical Power (UPS), Renewables, or Manufacturing
• Self-starter who can quickly take ownership of the role
